This time, Inamori* spoke about the above motto in Kyocera philosophy.

What Inamori said is quoted with “”.

“ Furthermore, if you currently find yourself to be unfortunate and your company is not doing well, you should be aware that it is all what you imagined, and your thoughts have driven the status quo. It is a universal truth that strong and persistent thoughts will come true. Whether you use your subconscious or not, this is just the matter of a tool, and if you wish eagerly for something to happen, it will definitely come true. “

Inamori talks about the following three points by which we can manage our subliminal minds and actually change our lives.

1. Persistence

2. Care for negative images

3. Patiently waiting for the turning point

I will explain each one.

1. Persistence

” Many people do not believe in this truth (that the subconscious mind changes reality). That is why they look at successful people and think, ‘wow, that looks easy and I’m sure that I can do that!’. Even though they imitate those success stories, their thoughts never come true.

Since you need a strong and sustained desire, it obviously won’t work if you just think about it for about three days. So what about thinking of the goal for one year? It may not work when you think about just for a year. Some people will achieve it in a year, and some won’t. I think it’s not a matter of time, but the strength of your will.”

→ Persistence is important. I am interested in many things due to curiosity, so I start many kinds of things but I quit almost everything I have started right away. But I keep doing some things. Releasing this philosophy newsletter is one of the things I have been doing.

Even when I’m in overseas countries, I have sent it out every week. By continuing in this way, I have a good opportunity to look back on myself regularly. Therefore, I believe that continuing something with strong desire eventually works for us to improve the quality of our life.

2. Care for negative images

“ It is often said that no matter how difficult the situation is, you should never be pessimistic about the future of your life or your company. You should believe that, ‘Though it is hard and painful now, my life will surely be rosy and bright, and my business will definitely be on a good path for success‘. “

→ Even though Inamori said above, the process does not look straightforward. People tend to unconsciously think, “I might fail again,” “This tough situation may not end,” or “I may end my life in despair.” This kind of fear or concern then seeps into your subconscious. Since it is the subconscious that creates reality, the reality is that you will fail, or you will not be able to get out of the depths of despair.

Therefore, it is important to face the negative images in your subconscious. It is necessary to carefully look at the dark side in your mind and at a conscious level, you must realize that you are anxious about this, that you are afraid of what to do if you end up in this situation. Paradoxically, this will prevent negative images from occupying your subconscious.

3. Patiently wait for the turning point

” If you suffer from an illness and are constantly pessimistic about the future, you will never be able to cure it. Since we will all die someday anyway, instead of worrying about the future, tell yourself that you will definitely get better and first believe in a bright future. Then, even if you die by mistake, it can’t be helped. That’s what life is really like. “

→ Under Asian philosophy, everything has yin (negative side) and yang (positive side). Even one phenomena has both pessimistic and optimistic interpretations. There is a front and a back of a coin. When you become extremely pessimistic and in pain, in other words, when you reach the depths of yin-negative-,sooner or later a new flow occurs where you turn from negative into yang-positive-. Shadows are created because there is light. If you can believe in the universal truth that such changes definitely happen, you will be able to endure difficult times.

Nakajima Miyuki’s song “Jidai” (Times) sings that “Even if you are this sad now, later on you will be able to laugh and say that we survived well under such difficult times.” To believe that things will turn into yang means to let the image of yang permeate your subconscious. If you believe this and live every day to the fullest, your thoughts will definitely come true.

In summary, for our desire to actually impact our life shift, we must maintain such a strong desire, carefully caring for our negative images under conscious level, then patiently wait for the moment when the trends turn around.
