3. Harmonizing through humble reflection
” Although I have been encouraging you as if I were your parents or boss, I believe this is my self-discipline to be a better person. I am doing my best to purify my own mind by asking myself: `How purified is your heart?’, or ‘How much enlightened are you now?’
I would probably be embarrassed to respond as I can not judge myself. But while telling you how important it is for you to polish your mentality; I must humbly reflect on myself. I believe that this self- criticizing process is what life is all about.”
→ There are a lot of sayings that encourage us to remain humble. Look at other people’s behavior and change your own. Other people are mirrors that reflect you. You have all the bad features that you don’t like about the others. The person in front of you is carrying out your inner desires.
I think it’s important to realize that inside you, you have some characters that you hate. I think it’s important to talk to your heart and mind and to manage the good relationship with your dark sides. Daily reflection works to recognize such dark sides and remain humble.
In summary, the “WILL of the universe” is a will that is filled with love and encourages progress and development. I believe it is important that we align ourselves with this WILL and, through reflection, fill our hearts with love and endeavor for further progress.
