1 Sharing the business philosophy・6 Penetration of philosophy-

Inamori said that the philosophy extends to the “going-concerns”. This means that a company must go bankrupt in case they are forced to deviate its philosophy for them to survive.

The interpretation is simple. People cannot be fulfilled when they deviate from their ethical behaviors as human beings. Therefore, if a company should get out of those moral/ or ethical values, which means the mainstream as human beings, there is no reason for that company to exist.

 

3 Participation by everyone-・4 Goal setting –

The corporate unit should be broken into each Amoeba. This allows each staff to understand the goal and deliver the utmost efforts to achieve it. More specifically, each Amoeba makes transparent the figure: the per hour profit, calculated by revenue, expense and working hours.

 

5 Accounting management-

We understand well that peoples’ minds amplify each one’s performance while it implies the weaknesses in making mistakes. Therefore, the system needs fairness, justice, rightness, completion and perfectionism.

 

7 Amoeba

As the organization gets expanded, the distance between the top management and staff would be larger. The Amoeba system compensates the deficits that come from this dilemma and allows staff to feel the top leader’s mind and share his values.

I think the most important thing is the fulfillment as a human being. Yamaguchi, the Aikido master, says that we never stop “existence as human being”. Thus, what we always must consider is the theme of “human being”. This means considering and conducting the right mindset and behaviors as human beings. Works, responsibilities, and our lives are the materials by which we can learn those fundamental philosophies or value standards as human beings.
