Some leaders have improved the performance of their companies since they started learning business philosophy from Inamori*. On the other hand, the companies of some leaders haven’t shown little progress or even remained the same.

I was wondering what the differences are. From the psychological viewpoint, the former believe their destiny becomes better, while the latter always doubt about the future of their businesses. Having reviewed psychological themes, I feel the former people believe something optimistic in their subliminal mind while the latter denies their success under their subconscious level.

So, how we can re-write our subliminal mind?

The following are Inamori’s tips on how to change our subliminal minds.

The keys are as follows.

1 Releasing emotion

2 Admit our weaknesses

3 Use our subliminal mind

1 Releasing emotion

Inamori recalled the episode: a staff member caused a car accident and the victim passed away.

When he arrived at the house of the victim, there were families and relatives. They looked at Inamori and said, “ Hey, young man, are you the leader of that company? ” Inamori said, “It was a very tough moment for me as a leader. I felt suffocated, suffered, almost dying due to the sense of sins. ”

→ People, nowadays, tend to forget about our emotions. Especially the guy, who has been very successful, does not want to recall the harsh days. If a corporate leader like Inamori had recalled his emotion, he would have recalled again the sense of guilt. So people tend to ignore their feelings and pretend nothing happened to them.

However, Inamori was different. He clearly remembered his emotion and recalled how he was feeling about the accident. This is a good and collective attitude, to keep our conscious mind integrated into the subconscious mind.

2 Admit our weaknesses

Inamori talked about his family. “When our children were small, I felt that I spent a certain time with them at home, however, the other day, my daughter complained -Dad, you have never put even a tiny importance on us, your family, haven’t you?- I felt a bit shocked and totally defeated. “

→ This demonstrates how great Inamori is as an entrepreneur and a leader. Usually, such a successful leader shows himself as a respected and a perfect person. But Inamori honestly and openly demonstrates as he was. He shows his weaknesses and bad memories that other people want to hide. Under the psychological analysis, Inamori is admitting himself. He is the one who understands himself and admits himself the most. This is important to create the integration of subconscious and conscious minds within a one personality.

3 Use our subliminal mind

Inamori said to Seiwajuku members, “Guys, just think like that- Now I have joined a seiwajuku workshop, my destiny should change, and my future looks brilliant-, there are a lot of good energy streams here in this workshop, so I believe once you’ve decided learning here, your business should turn into a good direction.”

→ Inamori is one of the most legendary business leaders in Japan. This is because he has always been a very open minded and honest person. So, as he mentioned, those who believe Inamori’s words in their subconscious level will be able to succeed. Those who, on the other hand, have strong doubts on their success under their subliminal mind would definitely fail to succeed. In our actual world, their subliminal minds have always driven our actions and lead to the image that we envisaged in our subliminal minds.

So basically, with the below three attitudes, leaders can integrate their conscious mind into their subconscious mind. This is the fundamental key for them to be successful as did Inamori.

1 Releasing emotions

2 Admit our weaknesses

3 Use our subliminal mind

Nowadays, people don’t get used to releasing their emotions. So, I feel leaders need to release their emotions in a proper manner so that they can prevent their negative image towards their business from being recorded under their subconscious minds.
