We are speaking about the challenge in Amoeba system.

While implementing this system, the following points I found to be my challenges.

1 Perfectionism

2 Double checking

3  Efficiency driven

4 Transparency

5 Simple system followed by quick feedbacks.

3  Efficiency driven

“With Amoeba Management and the hourly profitability system, employees, even new employees who have just joined the company, can now surely understand the management goals of their department and their achievement status, and now they can improve their profitability. They can have a clear understanding of what they have to do … This is also one of the major reasons why Kyocera can develop a highly profitable corporate structure.

4 Transparency

Not only executives but also employees should know the current status of the company, such as how many orders are received, how much they are behind the plan, how much profit is made, how it is used, etc. In addition, we have aimed for a glass-walled management that secures a transparency.

5 Simple system followed by quick feedbacks.

There was a commentary on Amoeba Management from a professor at Kobe University.

He raised two major points of Amoeba Management. 1) It is as simple as a household account book and can be used by anyone. 2) It is to give feedback on a daily basis quickly while every staff member clearly remembers what he did yesterday.

Making use of the time for driving, or using the spare time before going to bed, we should make the best use of our time and squeeze the moment for reflections.
