This time, several entrepreneurs who started their businesses in the U.S and have been learning at Seiwajuku shared their experiences with other members. The majority of them have had difficulties in their business growth under the very harsh competition as well as the “profit driven” environment in the U.S. However, Julie, the owner and the president of a food company, has steadily developed his business and expanded branches in several cities in the U.S.
The difference between Julie and others are as follows:

4 Obedient to God’s will not to common sense
Another entrepreneur Michael said that he had never been successful while following the manual which had been believed as the common sense. For instance, he hired a cleaver, capable and eloquent guy but the management was tough and that capable one final left.
Inamori, by remembering JAL’s recovery just in two years, stated that he made this but this is for sure because of the God’s help.
“That was not due to my own management skills. Believe me, there is a secret to bring God’s help. As Tempu said, I purely think about others, so that I was able to have unexpected God’s help. Mr. Tempu Nakamura, a philosophism, whom I respect, told that when we make our mindset neutral, vacant, unoccupied, and non-biased, we would be able to communicate with God’s and eventually understand his wish.
Julie is also the one who believed the God’s with through Inamori’s philosophy.
I have been doing Aikido for about 10 years now. Since I came to Okinawa, I have been practicing by Professor Yamaguchi of the Okinawa Aikikai. What the master says is the same as what Mr. Tempu Nakamura says. When you lose yourself and think about your counterpart, you and the other person would get united. Then, you will be able to see the laws and the nature of the universe. We never achieve to such depth while we keep ourselves busy and keep our minds occupied with various things in our daily lives. So leaving a lot of possessions and make ourselves vacant are keys to open your communication with God.
5 Respecting and caring spouses
Julie’s wife made a secret saving and that saving helped Julie when he purchased house and develop a factory. Julie demonstrated his gratitude toward her and asked her to live with him for the left of his life. That looks beautiful.
Mr. Inamori was touched and moved with Julie’s story and said. An entrepreneur who had been obsessed with egoistic mind and struggling in business management changed due to the business philosophy. Now he wishes the fulfillment of his staffs and others. How beautiful it is, how blessed I am. I am really glad to hear that and I would like to tell myself that I did really good things.
Thus, the following five items are the keys for an entrepreneur to success in overseas countries.

I think the most important is the “honest, pure and obedient mind.” To have an honest mind, you need to take care of yourself. Face the trauma of your past and listen to all the emotions in your heart. If you can do this, you will be honest with yourself. Since you are honest with yourself, you would openly be able to accept the opinions of others.
Be always honest, cheerful, and positive, while having dreams and hopes. This is one of Mr. Inamori’s 12 management mottos. He taught us the most important attitude, “honest, pure and obedient,” for human beings to be blessed and fulfilled.
