Now, the word “Workacation” has been a trend in Japan. This means working but enjoying our holidays in vacation destination. Offices no need to be in city center, taking into account the internet working environment and technologies. Furthermore, recent lack of the work force, major companies have been keen on attracting younger generation to commit to working for their companies.
In order for those companies to make their entity very much attractive for potential workers, having such a nice work option would be a solution. When it comes to workation destination, some prefer choosing Wakayama, some prefer Kyoto. Okinawa, of course should be the number one destination for Japanese spend their holidays. However, in Okinawa, there are a few Workation facilities and especially, stylish, efficient and environmental conscious is the most demanded one.
Taking all phenomena into account, I strongly feel that in Japan more and more workation destination would be sought.
