It was the blog highliths of my friend, who is the owner of three restaurants.

 

From immediately after the earthquake to mid-June, Three restaurants run by me have lost their customers. Lunch only (and a few people) No one comes for dinner. Almost no sales.

That lasted for four months. Whether or not the customer comes, I paid for utility bills, the salary to the staff, inventories, or anything other expenses go out.

But there was no sales. It can not be helped. Because if you eat out at a restaurant, you become ones to be blamed. March / April is a thank-you party and welcome and farewell party season.

It should have been almost filled with reservations, Cancel immediately after the reservation and the reservation sheets were completely blank. The customers did not come day after day.

 

I still think it was a miracle that I was able to survive. The cause of this situation is general “unscrupulous” “self-restraint” mode. It is unscrupulous to drink alcohol. Dining out is unscrupulous. Enjoying is unscrupulous.Luxury is unscrupulous. So let’s restrain yourself. That was the trend of the Japanese society. Restaurants had been the primary target for this.

Alcohol, eating out, fun, luxury…First of all, restaurants have been removed from the people’s have to do list.

 

It was really tough. Now, something similar is happening. Events in various places are canceled, I was told to refrain from going out. People tend to avoid gathering. This first target is arranging banquets. In addition, we thought that restaurant seemed to become severe situation.
