Sometimes, Tarot card or other materials work for us to read people’s feeling.

Some people say Tarot is a sort of fortune telling and there is no logic or reason to rely on.

Other people put importance on the readings and fortune telling function of those cards.

 

Personally, since I learned “Hawaiian Aloha Tarot”, I have valued a lot the messages that I have got from the cards.

 

For instance, I asked the card “Tell me how I am looking at ‘Family Business’? ” In other words, I would like to know “my image towards Family Business”

The cards told me as follows.

 

 

Three key words are “Escape”, “Harmony” and “Disconnect”

 

We can develop our interpretation through those three words.

 

Harmony

 

Family business can be succeeded by a person who can create a harmony with others.

 

Escape

 

The candidate for a successor can escape from the responsibility. He may not be forced to take all the responsibility. It is allowed for him to escape from the given mission.

 

In that sense, the candidate can be disconnected, even though he is a son, brother, or grand son of the current business leader.

 

All those messages can be derived from the cards.

 

How am I actually feeling towards Family Business?

Do the cards exactly reflect my image?

 

Yes, they do.

 

1  Escape

 

Now a days, many next generation leaders have been in difficulties in their succession. By ethical views or under the Japanese family system, people spontaneously feel some obligation to succeed their family business, simply because their parents wish them to do. However, this is not always true. Children can demonstrate their own wish or will. If children do not want to get involved in the family business, they can say “No”.

 

2  “Harmony”

 

When the next generation refuses the succession, who would be the next leader? My answer is that “anyone who can create a harmony in the business can be the next leader.” This card symbolizes “Dance”, implying “harmony, or the best combination”. Thus, what I think about the candidate is that the current leader can select the one who realize the best harmony in the company. That candidate can be non-family member, someone from the siblings, or a recruited CEO. The successor does not have to be the one who relates to the founder family through kinship. Anyone who can bring the best match with other colleagues can be the candidate for the next leader.

 

3 Disconnect

If we can find the suitable next leader, we don’t stick with the idea “the next leader should be selected in our family.” A family member who was supposed to succeed the leader’s position can be free from the restriction. Then he gets disconnected with his family and he can walk his own way.

 

For the conclusion, under a family business, children have pressure to succeed the business. However, we can find a good candidate to bring a harmony to the business. Children can escape from the family business and released from the family rules.
