How come “Think can grow rich“?

Inamori* mentioned that your life should be followed by your thoughts. In other words, what you envisage in your mind will be realized in various ways. What Inamori said are referred to with “”.

“The outcome of your work and life depends on what you envisage in your mind. If you desire your success and envisage you’ve achieved your goal, you will succeed. On the other hand, if you are unconfident and afraid of failure, you will fail. What you think will always be realized and what has happened to your lives so far are exactly reflecting your mind. Therefore, instead of envisioning negative and bad things like anger, envy, jealousy, and suspicion, we must always dream, envision something bright and beautiful. By doing this, real life becomes wonderful. Pay attention that ‘what you envisage’ can correspond to ‘ mindset ‘ in the life formula that I shared with you guys before.”

There are two points that Inamori wants to stress.

1 Misfortune is created by those who are suffering.
2 Believe in love, sincerity and harmony spread in the universe.

I would like to add some more comments on the above two points by referring to what Inamori said.

1 Misfortune is created by those who are suffering.

Inamori is mentioned as follows.

” ‘Life is the reflection of what you envisage in your mind ’ Buddhism and other religions make us believe this idea. However, clever guys don’t really believe it. Nevertheless, I have been telling you guys that what we have, hold, believe, trust, and envisage in our mind, appears in our lives as the reality. I would like you to understand that this is not a humanitarian value, but the rules and laws of the universe. I have often said that your thoughts drive karma. Karma is the root cause which brings unexpected outcomes. Thoughts drive causes, and always cause unpleasant outcomes. In other words, what you think is always quite important and you should not bear in your mind bad things or negative images. This is how the Buddha preaches. Mr. Tempu Nakamura also teaches us that we shouldn’t have negative or vicious beliefs in our lives and I totally agree with him.”

→I have been working in the courts as an arbitrator for the past five years. During this time, I have been involved in many litigation cases. What I learned there is that each of the parties is creating an enemy in their own minds. Each party is forming an invisible enemy in his/herself. ‘ He must have vicious intentions.’, ‘She will definitely react in such a nasty way, if I ask her to do this. ‘
These thoughts are so strong that the enemy in an image becomes a reality.
Therefore, I can say that they create misfortunes by themselves and got tapped in such unpleasant situations. Those who are looking for someone to be blamed always create the root cause by themselves. I have seen many cases where people get upset with enemies whom they created. I have talked to myself not to create an enemy in my mind.

2 Believe in Love, sincerity and harmony spread in the universe.

Mr. Inamori also said this.

“Human nature can be expressed in three words: love, sincerity, and harmony.”
Those who are not convinced with what Inamori said- our thoughts drive the reality- are ones who do not agree with the above idea. They are full of cynicism and sarcastic.
They criticize Inamori’s words by saying the following.
The reality doesn’t look like paradise. Real life is harsh to survive. Innocence never helps us to survive. We should at least be clever enough to survive.
Thus, those realistic people hardly believe in the truth of the universe.

Therefore, I think I should be conscious and aware of love, sincerity, and harmony in the world.
When we look for them in our daily lives, I feel we will be able to find them everywhere. However, when we don’t pay attention to those values, we would never be able to find them. What we should look for is quite important.

In short, what you envisage becomes a reality. We should avoid creating enemies in our mind. We should look for love, sincerity, and harmony in our daily lives as well. Thus, we will be able to have beautiful thoughts in our mind. This drives our brilliant future.
