Envisaging, Desiring, and believing

Some entrepreneurs put high importance on business administrative skills and techniques. Others rely more on the mental parts of business leaders. Inamori always spends a great deal of his time speaking about how important our mind is to Seiwajuku mates.

I feel the reasons why he stresses above are as follows:

1 Out thoughts create our lives

Inamori said , by mentioning the words of James Allen, “Our mindset creates our personalities. Our personalities develop our living and working environment. That environment ultimately determines our life styles.” Therefore, the results and outcomes of our lives have ultimately derived from our personalities.

When I have been analyzing subliminal minds of my clients/people surrounding me, and mine, I have found out the above. People, due to their negative mindset, most of the time, have got traps which they unintentionally created by themselves.

In order for us to get out of such traps, I have always been analyzing my own mind, reviewing my subliminal mindset, and getting rid of unnecessary ideas/ thoughts.

2 Envisaging links you to your “True self”

Under Buddhism, beneath each of existence, there should be the essence of Buddhism, which means the profound love towards others. That love can be interpreted as compassion, mercy, charity, altruism, dedication, and a comprehensive affection that benefits others. I call it “True self”.  Regardless of our level of recognition of that “True self”, all the creatures in this universe have it far below in our subliminal mind.

When we envisage our wish through that “true self,” that wish should be empowered. Our wish will be released from our mind straight to our goals.

Therefore, while desiring, We should maintain the venues where those desires come from. If our desires are developed under our ecosystem or a selfish mindset, our desires would never ever be realized.

→ All we should do is believe in the fact that each of us fundamentally have such a true self inside us. We have to maintain the attitude, by which we can see, observe, perceive all the existence surrounding us as they are.

3 Keep envisaging eagerly

Most entrepreneurs or corporate leaders tend to have a thought: we would love to have such a favorable outcome in terms of our business management. However ,unfortunately,they have never even desired to have actual business results. They easily give up thinking. Look, it’s just a dream, how come we could be able to achieve that high goal. Just look at me, I’m not that smart or brilliant business later, who could commit the results. Guys, this is just simply the matter of seriousness. Whether or not you could achieve your goal is just simply depending on how serious you are.

→ While I’m analyzing somebody, my mind usually realizes how strong your subliminal mindset works. Your subliminal mindset doesn’t want to change. So that has been whispering you a lot of excuses, by which you give up your challenges.  If you wish to realize your strong desire, all you have to do is just simply look at your subliminal mind. You should disturb the mechanism of your subliminal mind.

4  Desire should be developed by beauty and innocence.

Looking back at his business successes, such as Kyocera’s strong growth, KDDI starting up, and JAL’s revitalization, Inamori admits that his desire had always been pure, unbiased, independent, and innocent. He said that was the key to bring about miracles. The higher your goal is, the more you define your desire. You should especially think about the source where your desire comes from. Is it purely come from altruism or it might somehow include your egoism?  This is critically important for you to achieve your goal.

5 For whom the management has a desire

Some Seiwajuku members have asked Inamori how he has managed the roles: president, father and husband? They have been afraid of sacrificing too much of their families to drive their companies to grow. Inamori said that he has never had such a situation. For instance, every day he comes home, he talks about daily topics with his wife. He said this is to have her feel unified and cooperating with her husband, working together as a couple. Inamori said to some extent presidents are forced to sacrifice their families to achieve their goals.

From a mindset and phsycological viewpoint, I feel that if presidents feel guilty about communicating with their families, the outcome ends up giving their families a feeling of “sacrifice/ dedication”. From my experience, instead of feeling guilty, I have been expressing my gratitude to my husband. He used to complain about his working environment here in Japan. He had to use Japanese language, get used to Japanese customers. I used to feel very guilty towards him as he would have never suffered if he had not got married to me. However, I changed my mindset. I want to appreciate that he chose to live with me in Japan. I started telling him “Thank you for your efforts/ patience. Thank you for loving me that much. I am the happiest woman in the world.” I told him that. I think he is now feeling more positive than he was in terms of living in Japan.  .

So, what I wanted to stress was the following: the sense of guilt may not bring positive outcomes in your family. However, by changing the viewpoint, you can convert the sense of guilt to gratitude. The sense of gratitude would bring to your family harmony and good energy circulation. So, if you work hard, it does not necessarily mean the collapse of your family.

6 Believe in God support with your refined mind

Inamori mentioned the JAL revitalization case. Actually, he introduced the business philosophy to change the mindset of top management. Additionally, he brought the Amoeba system as the profit driven accounting system. However, he still said that the key to promote the reform was his desire and envisaging JAL recovery. His unbiased and impartial mind worked to have God’s help. Inamori added.

I personally feel that what brought such an unexpected God’s help was how pure he was. In other words, if had had some prejudices, bias, and potential doubts towards external support, he could not have found such a bonus from God. Inamori has always been cautious about such attitudes as having views of being biased, distorted, twisted, filtered, or obsessed with an idea. Those attitudes would hamper God’s help as it doubts the positive energies spreading in the universe. They are, namely, so-called virtues: love, affection, compassion, honesty, sincerity, diligence, and trust. So, we, the top management should have a refined mind or heart.

So to sum up, presidents need to desire, envisage and wish to realize their goals.

Among them, having strong desire and refining our minds are two most important to create a great cycle of positive energies.
